Orlando Weather Guide | Month to Month

January - March | High 71F-78F & Low 49F-56F  | Sunlight: 10-11hrs avg

Warm during the day, cool at night and little rain. Ideal weather for most, but the locals will be bundled up during January & February. Considered the low season for Orlando, there will be smaller crowds until about mid March when Spring Break begins. Great time to to take advantage of cheaper flights and room rates. Maybe even give the kids a few extra days off during school.

Things to do around town:

Epcot's International Festival of the Arts | Disney

• Mardi Gras |  Universal Studios Orlando

• Silver Spurs Rodeo | Kissimmee

• Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival | Disney

April - May | Highs 83F-88F Lows 60F-66F | Sunlight: 12-13hrs avg

If you're looking for warmer temps and great deals, this is the perfect time of year. Springtime events happening all across Florida.

Pro Tip:  Avoid booking your vacation during spring break and US holidays (see calendar for exact dates).

Things to do around town:

• Central Florida International Auto Show | Orlando

• Florida Film Festival | Orlando

• Easter Surf Contest  | Cocoa Beach

June - August | Highs 90F-95F Lows 75F | Sunlight: 13hrs avg

While researching, you may have come across a number of articles telling you this is the best time to visit...  Let's take a look at the facts and then decide for yourself.

HOT & HUMID with unpredictable heavy rain!  Schools Out = long lines & high room rates. Traveling to Orlando during high season means the theme parks, attractions, beaches and resorts will be at their busiest and most expensive. If this time works best, bring a rain jacket.

Things to do around town:

• Summer Moonlight Sea Turtle Walk | Ft Lauderdale

• Coke Zero 400 | Daytona

• Key West Lobster Fest | Key West

September - October | Highs 85F Lows 66F | 12- 11hrs avg

Less heat, cool nights, some rain. With school back in session, crowd levels are lower. All around great time to visit and worth giving the kids a few extra days off. This however is during Hurricane Season, opt for Travelers Insurance when booking just in case you need to reschedule or cancel.

Things to do around town:

• Epcot International Food & Wine Festival | Disney

• Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party  | Disney

• Halloween Horror Nights | Universal Studios Orlando

November - December | Avg Temp: High 75F Low 55F | Sunlight: 10hrs avg

Humidity drops significantly in November making it a popular time for "Snow Birds" to visit.  Avoid the holiday rush by booking the 1st or 2nd week in November or December.

Things to do around town:

• Bok Tower Gardens Holiday | Lake Wales

• Fort Wilderness Christmas Lights Tour | Disney

• Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party | Disney

• Festival of Trees | Orlando Museum of Art
